DIY Asian Mixology: Watermelon Boba Martini

How to make Watermelon Boba Martini, aka #RedHerring

In honor of the upcoming 626 Night Market events serving beer & spirits, we decided to collaborate with Boba 7 to create a series of DIY Asian Mixology videos. The Watermelon Boba Martini is so refreshing and sweet, it is perfect for the warm weather of Spring & Summer.  Learn how to make your own today!

Ingredients:
Watermelon Pucker
Vodka
Jigger
Cocktail Shaker
Boba
Ice

Instructions:

Step 1: Put boba into martini glass

Step 2: Add ice to the cocktail shaker

Step 3: Add 2 oz. of Watermelon Pucker into the cocktail shaker

Step 4: Add 1 oz. of Vodka into the cocktail shaker

Step 5: Shake & strain

Then, cut the boba straw to fit into the martini glass.  Swirl the boba to create the effect of dancing watermelon seeds.  Happy drinking!

We hope this inspires you to create your own version of Watermelon Boba Martini at home and maybe even conjure up an original Asian mixology drink of your own! If you decide to be so brave, please use the #BuildaBoba hashtag so we can see your creations.
